About Me

My name is Kirsten and I am a South African Brit living in Krakow, Poland. After spending a decade working as an architect in London, I moved to Poland, where my husband and I lead a church. I also teach English, and spend lots of fun time with my three kids. I love hiking and reading, and needless to say, knitting.

I love studying the knitting traditions from around the world, and most of my designs have been inspired by knitwear from Scandinavia and the Baltic States.

Knitting is a fabulous way of expressing the creativity that God has given us, while at the same time being practical, relaxing and so much fun. I also enjoy connecting with knitters from all around the world, through the process of designing, testing designs, and making garments. I'm so delighted to see the different colour combinations and iterations of my designs that you make, every one being special and unique.
