Quiescence is a seamless top-down yoke sweater which can be knitted either with or without the hood. It

features stranded colorwork around the yoke, which starts with a pale, neutral contrast color, and inverts

into a vivid main color. There are short rows at the neckline for a comfortable fit, and optional waist shaping to add feminine shape. The hem is finished off with bold ribbing, while the cuffs are completed with stranded colorwork that echoes the yoke.

For the hoodie alternative, stitches are picked up around the neckline. The hood is shaped with decreases

and finished off with Kitchener Stitch. The front edge of the hood is then edged with Single Crochet Border

in the main color.
